About this tax
REPEALED / REPLACED. A 0.25% (quarter-cent) countywide transactions-and-use (sales) tax approved by L.A. County voters on March 7, 2017 (two-thirds vote, special-purpose tax). Revenue was legally restricted to homeless services and prevention and held in the Measure H Special Revenue Fund. It was originally scheduled to expire in 2027 but was repealed and replaced early by the 0.50% Measure A effective April 1, 2025 — see [[los-angeles-county-measure-a-homelessness-sales-tax]].
